Prudential Securities still cautious on AOL Time Warner in daily
tech notes 5/10/02

Analyst Katherine Styponias reiterates a "hold" rating on the
Internet and media giant after reviewing its quarterly filing
with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Styponias argues a
boost in AOL Time Warner's free cash flow, to $1.1 billion, was
driven by factors that aren't sustainable. On a more positive
note, she says the music division's better-than-expected
performance stemmed from market share gains along with the $84
million purchase of Word Entertainment.
