This is an excerpt from Harry Newton, he believes GLW, might be a special situations play..... But I am impressed enough to seriously consider buying Corning (GLW). The reason: China. That country is about to spend $8 billion fiber opticking up its entire country for the 2008 Olympics, which it's hosting and taking very very seriously. Corning will sell China virtually all the fiber. I met the man responsible for selling China the Corning fiber. He's Corning's agent in China. He doesn't work for Corning. I talked with him for over an hour. I was impressed with his knowledge of China and how well he's handling the Corning sales opportunity. Recently he bought himself personally a bunch of Corning stock. I may, too. SK
