I read recently that several Arab members of Israel's Knesset heckled a Sharon speech.

Seems there is a parliamentary body, everybody gets to vote and hold office regardless of ethnicity, and there is freedom of speech for the political opposition. Yep, sounds like western-type democracy to me.
