Dear Scumbria: "There has been no change in the Arab position of desiring to destroy Israel." Oh, but I think there has been a change. Saudi Arabia, the home of MECCA and the guardians of same have come out and said PUBLICLY that Israel DOES deserve to exist. That IN MY MIND is very important and worth working on. I think that its almost a SURE THING we can get Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan at a MINIMUM to sign such a statement in PUBLIC IF a peace deal can be worked out. If they were to do that it would become REALITY. JDN
