Thanks, the comment about JDSU's obsolete inventory tends to confirm what I was saying - Murphy didn't spell it out, but he's saying that when sales come, they will be next generation devices. GLW will be developing some, but there are still hundreds of start-ups with VC money that are trying to get in the act; most of them will die and I hope GLW will have the cash on hand to pick up some technology for cheap, out of the rubble. The folding of the start-ups could create a bad atmosphere, similar to the gloom as one Internet comapny after another shut down. That could suppress stock prices for a while, I suppose. This is not going to be a quick process.
