Ali - the memory limit for flat addressing in IA32 is 4GB, not 64GB.

And for a variety of reasons, which I have already posted in nauseating detail, the flat addressing from application space reduces both total cycles and memory latency by large factors. The 20X performance gain for such systems is well established and repeatable, as shown by the many 64 bit RISC machines.

I see no reason why the AMD processor would not deliver similar gains, but the proof will be in the pudding.
