Similarly, Americans preferred not to take sides in the disagreement between Hitler and Churchill.

That's cold comfort for the 'we will protect Israel' theory. 70% of Americans couldn't care less and know little about what the heck's going on. "Being fair", "neutral" etc sounds good. But what if your Mum's being raped and she wants the thug to leave her alone? Do you decide to be 'neutral' or simply kill the bastard?

Some people are actually just horrible, vicious thugs who need to be stopped. Moslem Jihad head hackers are the most prolific thugs at the moment. Ask Daniel Pearl, Stan Shaw, many other individuals and the people in the WTC about 'neutral' 'taking sides' etc...
