No such thing as "sexual freedom." Just ask Newt Gingrich. Back to guns. The framers of the Constitution realized the importance of militiamen to own firearms, and deemed this a right that was not to be tampered with by lesser governmental units. However, I disagree with those who say "it's a God-given constitutional right" to own an AK-47. It ain't. Also, one could argue that the Second Amendment is now dated and in need of significant revision by virtue of the fact that there aren't "militias" per se anymore. They went the way of the sheriff's posse.
