I never said it was. I said it was evidence of ethical or moral blindness brought on by substitution of aesthetic impulse for thought.. I was being kind. Many, probably a minority of environmentalists, are simply self indulgent folk who substitute environmentalism for self examination just as many, not all, religious types substitute religion for self examination.
