MB: I KNEW I was in with a bunch of raving lunatics. (g) Not that I am a mis-fit. In my late teens, I ran out of room in the middle of an "S" turn on a Triumph 650cc bike at 80 mph on our local track and found myself in a well-ploughed field. Pushed clear of the bike about 25 feet in the air and created a nice set of dirt mounds at every bounce. Had "road-rasberries" for the whole summer. God truly does look after the errant sparrows. (g) In my forties (when I should have had more sense), I competed in the "Worrell 1000", a 1000 mile open ocean race from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to Virginia Beach Va. This was done in Hobie 16 catamarans at that time and the only rule was "Start here, finish there". Frightened the wits out of myself more times in that 10 days than in any given year before or since. (g) You don't suppose it's a gene defect that's prominent among folks who short stocks do you?
