Yesterday Arafat was going around Palestine talking about the great victory he was going to have in Jerusalem.

Isn't this the same Arafat who turned down an offer from the Israeli's for half of Jerusalem, all of Gaza, and 97% of the west bank, less than 24 months ago? The man is a complete fraud, as are his cronies in the press corps.

It is also telling how he loves to talk about "martyrdom" and "victory", but never talks about building a future for the children, building a vibrant economy, or bringing democracy and freedom to the Palestinian people.

It is unfortunate that President Bush stopped Sharon from finishing off Arafat three weeks ago. There are plenty of responsible Palestinian leaders who were ready to step up and start them down a new path.
