Charles - no, although they have made some progress in that area with Win2K. Essentially under windows, if it is to be used raw, the disk is completely unknown to the OS aside from its hardware characteristics.

For Sun's Cobalt servers, it was my understanding Sun was using Intel chips. Do you know if that is still the case? I didn't see in the below press release issued today a reference to whose chips are being used:
