Hi Gottfried; Those newsletters never tell you about their losses. I had a subscription to the Michael Murphy newsletter. One of his recomendations was Global Crossing (GX) at around $32. He was still holding in the mid-teens when my subscription expired. I'm not sure when he told his clients to sell. Another classic was the end of the year 1999 show on Wall Street Weak and the panel was asked to pick their best stock for the year 2000. Lazlo Berini (sp?) names Exodus Communications (EXDS) selling around $100 at the time.
