Reflecting back on the last few days, this should have been expected. The odds are very good and with the bulls that the nas ends the month over 1700. Within that outlook, there is a good possibility of a nas reading of 1750-1850. This is based on the fact that in the 3 weeks following a top ten up day, 75% of the time the nas was higher than that day, and in most of those cases was up more than 5%.

1650 was the day after close, and the nas has never closed lower than the day after close, at the one week anniversary of a top ten day.
It's a small sample, I know. And yes, I also know that it feels like a meltdown can occur at any moment. Such is life near the end of a very old bear market that was based on fear, some overcapacity, and little else.
