Disagree. Strongly.

The intent of a classic stalker is to indefinitely intimidate the victim and in this 'case,' is even more insidious as the stalker has 24/7 mind access through 'anonymous' cyberspace 'communication.'

The intent is to plant the idea that some how, some day, the victim will 'pay for' something ... which can be anything ... rejection of sexual 'advances' through private email or SI PM communication... or being a 'leftist' ... or not being 'religious' ...

The 'offense' that provokes the stalker to persist -- to 'deliver' 'justified' 'payback' -- is defined, of course, by him.

So the insidiousness, which SI apparently either rejects or is unaware, is a direct result of the 'availability' of the victim via the medium.

Somehow, some day, the cyberspace conflict will turn into real life 'drama.'

That's the threat.
