scanning fast sto and rsi for patterns on the weekly VIX stockcharts.com[w,a]whclyyay[df][pc10!c20!d20,2][vc60][iub14!la12,26,9!li14,3] i can find nothing near term bearish except the March 2000 into April 2000, regrds the fast sto. And that area was also at a time we were having outlandish day by day volatility, however volume was high at that time. If it were not for this explosive up/down action recently i would concede bulls have rest of the month. But with this extreme whipsawing i have heavy doubts that bulls take the weeks ahead. Also the RSI pattern is similar to August 2001.
But i may be pressing to hard here, because the bulls got arguments TA wise for sure now. Max
