The advocates of homicide bombings have taken a leaf from the struggle of the Jews and twisted it's meaning to absurdity. Thomas Friedman referred to the Palestinian reply to this as "how can you blame us, WE ARE OPPRESSED?" Thus, they are absolved, not only from blame, but from any semblance of criticism. Even Gandhi, who once advocated Jews commit suicide to call attention to their plight would find no honor here. Encouraging, training, and allowing youth to participate in simple murder of Israeli citizens (and incidentally others, even Arabs) is a poison pill for this state of Palestine, should it ever come to be.
