looking at the VXN and the bullish percentages, I just don't see how we are positioned for a breakout rally. So I have been assuming that any rally is just a shorting opp.

Susan,

I agree a lot had to be short covering. Last Friday, everyone was proclaiming the Friday/Monday mantra. Bears were very confident. Many went into the weekend short.

This market is absolutely nutz.

Fred

Susan, NDX 1282 is a double top and also very close to QQQ Max Pain of 32. That may be the target, although 1272 may also work as a lower high and a Fib of the first leg up.

The ramp job is not surprising, but it is quite impressive nontheless.

Great charts and comments. You are quite the trader, IMO.
