BNO

I did OK with it in 1999 and 2000, although in both cases I had to sell it for a short gain in the 1st Q.<g>

This year the uptrend has lasted longer and on April 28 already traded above the March 1999 H of 5.18.<g> I am looking for it to test the 8.50 level pretty soon.<g>

The 2nd Q report should be good with the income from the Artic Gas sale and redemption of more than $100 M of their 11 5/8% notes and $20 M of their 9 3/8% notes which is expected to save them around $0.40/share in interest/year.

The main reservation I have at present about BNO is the situation in Venezuela. I will be much happier if Chavez is taken out of the picture, but it seems he may stay there for a while.(I hope not as long as Castro has been in Cuba.<g>)

Ken/Bernard,

Thanks for the input on BNO. The chart I had posted had the stock bouncing off the 20 dma. I had plotted it to get a feel for what MA was important for this stock. My only concern is that Oil stocks seem to trade at reasonable mulitples so if they earn .65 for this year whats their potential price target? PE of 8-15?

Hi Ken. I got a little pop from CCUR yesterday, but the stock hasn't broken out of its trading range.

I like EXAC's chart. Nice cup and handle. New 52 week high intraday today.

Not sure how much reaction CLGY will get on its Tostrex NDA expected tomorrow or Friday. Should be good for at least a buy now and sell on the news trade.

Pond came out good enough for a magazine cover :-)
