epsteinbd, for all practical purposes there is no place for two countries side by side west of the Jordan River the whole area is to small to support so many people.

Any one even thinking seriously about that solution is pipe dreaming. Further with the arab birth rate of over 6 kids per woman (according to the CIA Fact book) there will be a population explosion which by itself will generate enormous problem.

The so called peace movement in Israel are just a bunch of irresponsible dreamers not people of any practicality or wisdom. The more one analyses the issue the less sense it makes. It goes back to King Solomon judgement between the two woman who laid claim on the same baby.

On more issue that no one seriously had addressed it is the issue of water. Already Turkey Syria and Iraq are on the verge of a conflict due to the water issue....... now add the Kurds to the equation and voala there is another conflict. It just does not make the news.

Aeroponics and hydroponics do not require as much water as open land watering. Hot houses and high value added crops is another alternative. et, in Honk Kong and Singapore they do neither, no one says they have to agriculturally oriented. Follow the Singapore and Honk Kong model, they did not start high tech, they started "crap" like plastics (they are still the cheapest injection molders...). The can hire me to set up a "master development plan" (g).
