MSFT needs to get a cash cow similar to Office some time soon. Desktop is gone (everybody and his grandma have already Word) so they (of course) try to build 6-lane highways ("no toll booths!"), with restaurants, massage parlours, gas stations to cannalize/cannibalize the internet traffic. And all J6P needs, is a Passport membership!!! - "...and everybody got a share..." as the Milo Minderbender's mantra in Catch 22 goes. All the C#, .NET &c brouahaha ("...and dont you mention Java. This coffee brand is no good for J6P. Trust us, we know it....") is just a hype to get everybody in line on building these nice, compfy, super-duper highways. Well, why not. Standard Oil worked fine too. Until those ...bureaucrats... decided to mind not their own, but somebody else's business. dj
