No but if she was a publically traded stock her value would go down as interest rates went up. Just like a closed end bond fund or the market price of any bond. The value is relative to the alternative uses of capital. Barrick will experience the same type of valuation decrease in it't bond portfolio if interest rates and gold both rise.
