WCOM - i see no reason to own WCOM. the market and bonds are saying its going to be BK. the talk of someone buying it is bogus, because who would want 32 billion in debt? If one wanted to try and make money from WCOM, buy the bonds. the assets of the company are likely worth more than the percentage the bonds are trading at - 30-40%? but it will take time for a workout of the bonds. better stay away. attractive possibilities in telecom to me are CWP, AT, and the baby bells. larry
