The Likud's decision, initiated by Benjamin Netanyahu, to oppose a Palestinian state, was a hollow, harmful political show About right. Bibi certainly picked a hell of a moment to pull such a stunt. It doesn't make me trust him any more than I did before, and that wasn't much. Everybody knows that if he becomes Prime Minister again, he will have to accede to a Palestinian State, just as he had to accede to Oslo last time around. This is purely for show, red meat for the core supporters.
