Savant: With regard to your recent news all I can think to say in a word is.....KOOOOOL!! Especially that roll-up LCD display. Man does it ever lend itself to more applications than I can imagine. Think of just one....and it's from that Sci-Fi TV program entitled, "Earth, Final Conflict." The portable video-phone where they would pull open the screen a la Egyptian scroll fashioned and conduct their call. Oh...and by the way, a more detail write-up of this paintable display can be found in the May 2, 2002 magazine Nature, wherein the article is "prosaically" entitled; "Single-substrate liquid-crystal displays by photo-enforced stratification." (Yeesh - talk about a title tailor-made for giving the common man absolutely no idea what they're talking about, eh? Heh) Anyway, the future just keeps getting more Sci-Fi-like all the time. Now if we can only get over our more nasty aspects....like blowing each other off the face of the planet...then this place could be truly Paradisical... So it goes... Thanks again for the info! John~
