No doubt about that. My remark was prompted by a 50 point rise in the NAZ and 150 points in the Dow. Also a $5 fall in POG and a rise of about 1.5 in the USD index.

As far as general market action is concerned, it seems to me that large movements in either direction are damped down so that prices are tending towards a trading range of about 10-20%.
