Circuit City to introduce a credit card...not just a card to be used at CC, but at ANY retailer. a very good choice by CC management to get into the under-penetrated and under-served consumer credit market.

how many CC investors do you think know that CC has a subsidiary called First North American National BANK. that's funny, i didn't know they sold DVDs and TVs in banks <g>

Excellent piece...really captures what's wrong with most of the securitization lenders nowadays. Noland and Reaper have also made the same points (ACF isn't the only company guilty of these practices, but they're among the most egregious violators of financial common sense).

DISCLOSURE: No POSition in ACF at the moment. Short COF and HI (which are in something of the same boat).
