Yes, there was a buy signal of sorts Friday, but there were also buy signals early Monday, which were discussed on SAII.

I don't think we're there yet for shorting signals:

ST Naz CI: 60.372 42.663
MT Naz CI: 50.670 37.426
LT Naz CI: 52.061 41.578

ST S&P CI: 83.926 59.696
MT S&P CI: 74.363 46.657
LT S&P CI: 74.480 58.009

Also, I don't think the next resistance levels for the indexes have been hit yet (1119 for SPX and 1773 for Naz, for example). But anything could happen, of course. So far, I'm sitting tight. The uptrend seems intact for now. If AMAT caused any unexpected havoc, there'd still be time to beat a hasty retreat. AMAT might just push things higher. (What drivel that was: AMAT might have a bad report or a good report. Oh, wow. How can I subscribe for more?)
