A bunch of fourth grade boys were suspended from recess last week for playing like they were space aliens and Earthings shooting at each other, with their fingers, on the playground. The principle considered it a violation of the zero tolerance policy against violence. Last year a fifth grade girl was suspended for two months because Grandma put a kitchen knife in her lunch box for slicing her apple. Zero tolerance in the hands of the intolerant and unmerciful.
