Nadine, the terrorists act a single worldwide group. While the Al Qaeda is on the run in the hills of Afghanistan, their terrorist cohorts open up a second front in Israel-Palestine via suicide bomber. That front then takes the attention away from the Afghanistan theatre and gets the world to focus in the Middle East. The US runs into opposition in the Middle East. The European allies of the US in Afghanistan do not agree in the ISrael Palestine situation and that very soon becomes evident to the terrorists. Then the dormant terrorists in Pakistan wake up and start challenging the US and start to drag their feet. That is the connection
