In conclusion -- just wondering --how much further from the ridiculous to the sublime (including me) are we all going to go here. That depends on what peoples' agendas are. We have passed the point where anybody's agenda other than mine is to solve the problem and get everybody what they want. There has been a win-win proposal on the table for some time, but it has been soundly dismissed. So since solving the problem isn't the goal, you have to wonder what is driving the, as you so succinctly put it, the mob. I think you said you were retired. But if you knew a sociology graduate student in your old haunts who was interested in a thesis topic, they could hardly do better than study the history, emotions, dynamics, and stated and unstated goals of this issue. There's at least one complete PhD thesis here!

This is mindboggling. I can't even say what I know from my own personal correspondence with someone to have happened, without someone going and counting posts and dates and telling me I'm wrong. It may be superficially accurate to say what you did, but the truth is that Poet was uncomfortable and stopped posting at DAR. She liked DAR and wanted to post there, and I urged her to try it. SHe did so when CH wasn't around, but ultimately it made her uncomfortable and she stopped. Your statement that they somehow coexisted peacefully was misleading and when Neo responded that he was "reeling", I felt it was unfair to Poet to let it stand as you had represented it. There is just too much manipulation going on with this situation as it is.
