LOL No, you completely mis understand the situation here. -g-

By upgrading to 300mm on all wafer lines, The DRAM makers can finally be so efficient, that their cost model actually could show a profit in theory.

They don't have a hope at the moment. I wonder how much all the 200mm lines cost?

They can "finally" get rid of the competition by having more cost efficient processes.

Then DRAM prices can stabalise to something normal.... in theory.
