I use the CBOE numbers, but it is possible they only reflect the numbers traded on that exchange.

The best way to use the put/call is to use the number that you are used to using. I've always used the CBOE number, so that's what works for me. It appears Stockcharts also uses the CBOE number too. Someone once told me what Astrikos used for their number, but I don't recall it anymore.

i believe that stockcharts/cboe ratio is for combined

equity/index options whereas as Astrikos is equity only
if you calc the equity only portion from cboe you get .424

Compare the numbers in from cboe.com and it gets more confusing. For both equity and index equals .52 but equity only is .42 That might explain the Atrikos number.
