Hi Don,

Malden is/was(?) in Chapter 11 reorganization. I am not familiar with plans for off shore manufacturing.

After suffering a catastrophic fire, Feuerstein nobly supported his employees during the period of reconstruction. Unfortunately, the "market" would not wait for him and he lost several contracts to other vendors in the meantime. This is the proximate cause of the bankruptcy. Not enough loyalty from the clothing manufacturers. Understandable, but regrettable that the basic game of capitalism has no soul and doesn't really care about human communities. Only grasping CEOs and those who shill for them.
