Nadine, I appreciate your responses. I am sorry to say so but your thinking is very simplistic in my opinion. Let me attempt to state it another way with the hope that this one will be simpler. When Israel walks into the West bank, it causes problems between the US and its European and Arab allies. And the US-European coalition fighting the Al Qaeda on the snowy peaks of Afghanistan cannot fight the terrorists any more as a single unit. The same is the case with the US -Autralian unit in Afghanistan. They all move away from the US since they know that Israel and US are close enough and that US could restrain Israel. But Israel has defied the US and continues to do so
