The way I remember it, USU rewrote the contract with the Russians. That contract was a millstone, saddling USU with above-market rates for the Russian fuel. The new contract may rectify this, but the latest official word (per usec.com is: "A signed contract amendment has been referred to the U.S. and Russian governments for approval. As soon as the two executive agents receive approval from their respective governments, USEC will provide further information."

Perhaps someone thinks they know something about imminent government approval?
