before real world short

Alas in the real world, shorting BB stocks is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for most investors. This is not a legal obstacle (short sales of BB stocks are unregulated by the SEC) but rather a practical one - most brokers just won't let you do it.

Anyone with a US brokerage account been successful at shorting a BB stock?

Peter

Since this is an SI portfolio, I'm going for it now.

The portfolio will short a full position of GMXX at the closing price of $8.15. Will add if needed; this should be a good till zero.

Also keeping an eye on AMGN, which is having a good recovery. Still think it's overvalued; that the Immunex merger will be tough.

Cheers, Tuck
