Using asynchronous transfers on Intel's newest StrataFlash (which AMD didn't compare against, even though it's been available for 8 months), Intel has a read access time of 110ns. However, what you fail to notice is that Intel's StrataFlash now supports synchronous transfers that have an access time of 13ns, but AMD does not support this mode.

Sorry, but StrataFlash is much faster.
