I think Milo mentioned 85C vs. 125C, not 185C. Have you ever taken your phone to the beach? or left it on a dashboard of a car on a sunny day? The temps can get very high.

If I remember right, 125C is the high end of the automotive temperature qualification range for semiconductors. This is the market that AMD will get, and Intel will not.

85C degrees converts to 185F degrees, which is what I said. I don't care how sunny of a day it is - my cell phone is not going to heat up that hot.
