I doubt it since I had to look this up. Here ya go.

Hedonistic damages: Damages for loss of the ability to enjoy one’s previous life. (Example: Compensation for loss of the ability to walk, even if loss of that ability has no economic consequences.)

I simply go on what CH and I call the "reasonable man" law. That is that if a reasonable man can determine the wrongness of some act, there is likely support for it in the extensive legal statutes of our society. This seems to fit what I was talking about. Does this seem reasonable?
