17:17 ET Brocade (BRCD) 23.51 -0.57: -- Update -- On call, company also expects Q4 (Oct) revenue and EPS of $160-$165 mln and $0.10. While we do not have specific Multex consensus numbers just for Q4, it appears to be higher guidance. Assuming the mid-points of guidance for Q3 and Q4, that would be sales this year of $568 mln vs Multex consensus of $550 mln. The EPS guidance is in-line at $0.28 for the whole year....stock moving up slightly on guidance to 23.37.

17:15 ET IBM (IBM) 84.50 -0.98: -- Update -- Analyst meeting just concluded with no new insight provided on short-term challenges... Palmisano said he is very comfortable with where IBM is positioned for long-term success
