Brooke, The market took off in 1933 and never looked back. By 1954 if you had not sold during the crash of 29 you would have made all your money back. Even if you had been in some of the stocks that went out of business you would probably be even by now assuming you were somewhat overweighted in the 2 that survived. Now if that isn't bullish I don't know what is.

I really can't believe people buy into this crap. I know it is a market of stocks and not a stock market but index funds are the only way one can be fairly well assured they will be somewhat better off 5 10 or 20 years from now.
