Re BRCD, I agree Zeev. the Balance sheet looks better to me than a year ago by far and I don't see anything which signals "danger on the horizon" except the fact that the market is willing to pay a high premium for not yet proven growth.

By the way, if we do get into a name-calling kindergarten, I want to be Spike or Spiderman. I don't want to be "specs" or "booger".

Zeev.. my argument is that if a company were to get creative with its books, since some deals can be long term in nature, companies create a deferred revenue liability when a deal is signed. As work on the contract progresses, deferred revenue on the balance sheet is reduced as income gets recognized. Typically this deferred revenue balance grows as new business comes in to offset that being worked off. In slow periods, however, companies are tempted to bring deferred revenues into the current quarter, and thats the point I was trying to make.. Mestin of course jumped all over me saying I had no clue as to what deferred revs are, all from a person whom I've yet to see make a buy or sell call anywhere and does nothing but criticize..

Disney is the next "AOL" to fall. Many issues are plaguing the company.

Huh? I know write-offs are in asset column (c'mon, I'm one of the few people on this thread who even know what a deferred revenue IS)- I was referring to the fact that you said the days receivable outstanding are on the high side - that could mean collection problems
