Of course you are right there... You will notice that I simply bypassed the issue. There was no comparison between V. and Sagan. Sagan reacted to V. as we did to K.--he gave a little more scientific respect than was due...then he stopped.

I was only saying that Sagan treated Velikovsky very shabbily, I wasn't revisiting the debate.

Velikovsky's cosmology was shaky, but his theories of catastrophism here on Earth are being borne out...
