"Tempted" infers improper .. I see, so you're saying BRCD would never do anything 'improper' with their books?? please tell me ya dont believe that... So rather than wildly speculate about a misdeed, why not first think about what operating events might have occured to explain the question or difference... Please refer to BEA Systems last quarters where their shrinkage in deferred revenue account might lead one to the conclusion that either the company is bringing the revenue from future quarters forward, or that new business is falling so sharply that existing contracts are being worked off faster than new accounts are coming in.
