And I think Yasser knows that. I've argued many times that he's been the captive of the most aggressive of his constituents. Lets see how the worm turns before dismissing the whole thing as PURE PR. For sure the Saudis now know how the president feels on the subject. I agree with you that he is being held captive by certain factions. However, I also think, like Tim, this call for change is primarily PR, as evidenced by the lack of any detail or substance, and was hastily put together in order to thwart the growing criticism of him by other Palestinians and Arabs. Nonetheless, I think you are right......its a way for the US to leverage him onto the right course, or to change him into a figure head and move him to the side. ted
