Mirror Bit being cheaper does not have to do with die size. It has to do with it needing less process steps.

Dan,

If, as AMD claims, mirror bit is cheaper to produce as well being faster and more reliable, then AMD is looking good to take significant share in the flash biz - and Intel may have some more new FABs available for "other" products.

If Jerry is right about AMD and Intel pulling away from the rest of the crowd (in NOR or both NOR and NAND?), it would mean that AMD would gain market from others, other than Intel first.
