Peru is already producing 140mt of gold and if Argentina quadruples output it will produce about 120mt, putting both coutries up near Canada at 150mt (and declining?)

There's lots of gold (and silver) in South America that will be coming out of the ground later this decade (IMHO) I have mentioned elsewhere a South American gold rush may result in a silver glut. I'm expecting silver surpluses and a 100:1 AU/AG ratio in the future, but that discussion is for another thread:
