Korea Hynix says talked with Mosel about asset sale
SEOUL, May 16 (Reuters) -

South Korea's Hynix Semiconductor Inc held talks with Taiwanese memory chipmaker Mosel Vitelic to sell unused chip-making facilities, it said on Thursday, but no agreement had been reached yet.

"We held talks with Mosel once in the past but no results have been produced yet," a senior Hynix official told Reuters.

Hynix, the world's third largest computer memory chipmaker, said earlier in the day it would slash 30 percent of its management as part of reform plans.
