As I've said before, toning down the extremist rhetoric and action on both sides would produce a more conducive atmosphere for a peace process. Perhaps this cycle of violence still needs to exhaust itself. Are you aware of the story of the Hatfields and the McCoys? What started as a war of self-defense for Israel is now perpetuating into an act of vengeance and land grubbing. There is an element of justified actions against terrorism but the Israeli government is deliberately blurring the distinction via propaganda (just as the Palestinians have their propagnada too). Why the double standard? Well, it may have something to do with the fact that Israelis have placed themselves on the higher moral ground. It's a risky strategy. Message 17461832
